On paper we have more players with higher league experience and are capable of turning it on. However Reality - They are low in confidence and seem to be playing like they are just starting their career and making mistakes.

 

If FGR get an equaliser, I could easily see them going on to win the game.

 

The longer it goes on at 1-0, the more confident they will become, so we definitely need one or, better still, two more. It's good to see Pope and Turner working together for the goal, so let's hope Pope now gets one himself to see them off.

 

This is a long way from won yet.

The goal owed more to Denton's interception to be fair.

 

Pope managed to get off the floor once in the first half, at least we now have someone alongside him who can run and put opponents under pressure.

Cambs Don, that is why we love Vale. You never know what is going to happen.

 

We could do with Pope and De Freitas getting on the score sheet for their confidence levels to grow as well. But this is being greedy. Just love a goal from any Vale player.
