Many posters have raised certain questions to which this latest article goes some way towards answering:

 

1. Are Ameriturf/AGS & BSI linked? Answer: No

2. Is Peter Miller part of BSI? Answer: No

3. Were the fans correct in their observations of the Ameriturf deal stoked up by Bill Bratt and Brian Melzack? Answer: Yes

4. Does the fact that BSI have refused to work with Bill Bratt an indication that he is implicated in "the something that was wrong with the deal" as discovered by Miller and raised to Deakin and ML? Answer: Yes

5. Were PC, ML and PM correct to dump AGS and BB for the sake of the club? Answer: Yes

6. Did they communicate this effectively to allay the fears of the fans and improve fan/board relations? Answer: No

7. Is Brian Melzack involved in the current deal? Answer: This would say to me no, but he wants to be recognised for part of it

8. Does this indicate that the new board/proposed new board structure is working for the betterment of the club? Answer: Yes, but they could have kept the fans informed better which would have stooped a lot of pain and hurt

9. Finally, does this actually change anything in terms of what is going on right now? Answer: No, but it doesn't half make me think, what would have happened if Bratt and Melzack had got their way with AGS and Peter Miller hadn't have stepped in and stopped the deal? :ohmy::unsure:

Of course, but I think the words are there and it suggests one additional thing to me. This new board are listening to the concerns and doubts raised by the fans and responding. Would there have been a response like this under the Jackson 5, or would they have just buried their heads in the boardroom and hoped it all went away?

Christ on a bike SV... there is no jackson 5... its a bad comparison to make, what you think is... against the worst we have known, it doesnt make the new good.

Do you consider their response(s) to be satisfactory or in enough detail (or any detail at all!)?

Nope, but short of opening up all the board minutes and the full accounts, what would you class as being sufficiently "in enough detail"?

 

I'm not going to repeat whats been endlessly stated on here but in simple terms enough to make me trust them enough to buy a ST (at a reduced price for over 60's , of course).

How is it a bad comparison? It is comparing what we had then, to what we have now, and what we had then, if some things had not gone our way, could easily have been what we have now!

Broken record alert! when are you going to let it go Deano? There are only 10 of you left now who refuse to get on with things and look forward.

 

It is the same every week. If we win, you start piping up around 2-3 days post-match. If we lose/draw, it is a matter of minutes.

 

It is all extremely predictable and has gone past the annoying stage now to one that makes everyone laugh.
