If this really is NS I have no idea what good he thinks will come from being on here.

It seems madness that the owner of a club would go on to a fans forum where hes going to get abuse and questions that he won't be willing to answer. So much for keeping a low profile, its just making the situation worse.

 

The demise has happened in the last 15 months, a very short space of time such is the nature of football, all stemming from when a chairman has the idea that he knows best and decides to get rid of a manager and players he didn't rate. Its a long road to get back to where we were after that rash decison.

At the moment it is embarrassing to be a Vale fan the whole club is a joke from top to bottom and has been so for a while. Unless there are massive changes then the natioal league beckons, and as I said when we got relegated last year it wont be easy in div 2 neither will it be easy in the national league. There are a lot of very well run clubs in non league that put us to shame.

How did it even come about fradley becoming chairman? Has fradley always been close to smurf?

I heard from a friend who knows him and he reckons hes been a fan for life and has put a lot of money the clubs way in terms of corporate entertainment, boxes and the like over the years. So from that its a fair bet he's been known the chairman / owners over the years, but how that lead him to become chairman I don't know. Unless he has some kind of business experience himself.
