What I don't get is when John rudge was here we played 4-5-1 away with a nippy forward up top who could get in behind and 4-4-2 at home why can't we do this now ?

Built a squad to play one way with no plan B. Have to keep bringing in players in the same positions as the ones he brings in can't do what he asks.

 

A change is needed tactically and in training. Not 100 new players.

We have no width with defensive full backs. We have threat with the ball over the top because the only striker has no pace. We have only one tactic, ball to target man (who battled well in that capacity) and finally I didn't get the subs and thought they undermined the shape of the team. I did see Kay run back, not as slow as I thought. Failed to take chances again. I feel we are self immolating, none of the teams we have lost to are better than us.

One absolute t0sser is Lee Blakeman. I thought some of his questions to Michael Brown were disrespectful. There's absolutely no way that Head of Arrselicking Graham McGarry would ask those questions of a Crewe manager, nor that fawning pansy Nigel Johnson of a Stoke manager.

 

Blakeman went on about presenting facts. One "fact" apparently was that half of all Vale fans booed and called for Micky Adams' head. That "fact" then changed to the majority calling for his head. Blakeman must have some spectacular technology that can identify percentages of crowds booing. Amazing stuff.

 

Alternatively he's talking out of his arrse. He's got form for that.

He seemed to believe that Adams only quit because the fans had turned against him. He then said well the fans didn't want an experienced manager such as Adams so they can't come on and ask for one now.

 

Makes sense that he supports Brown so much because they appear to come from the same planet.
