Hugill Big Money

Totally irrelevant. A certain party will just trouser it. Like he trousers all income. Off the books. Then sticks the running cost and purchase cost and the buying Wilde's out cost on the books as "director's loan". The man is what in the past would be known now as a crook. He's put nothing in in reality. And is after a shed load to get out,

Far be it from me to accuse him of being a liar and a crook. No doubt he had a beastly time being beaten up by these mystery assassins. Credit to him he didn't bother plod with it. And those accounts he published showing the commercial income of the club was zip. Or more accurately going into our Tesla buying glorious owner's sweaty back pocket.

You've got to admire him getting away with it, And recruiting so many to swarm the media and put down a smoke screen for his con. How many pieces of silver REP?

If smurf trousers the proceeds and decides to sell I wouldnt kick up a fuss

Hey Toyah, I really wish you wouldn’t sit on the fence !

The way in which any Hugill money is distributed is the biggest indicator to me as to whether Norman has learnt his lesson and actually has the potential to turn club around after his disastrous tenure of the last few years.

If a significant portion (>50%) of any money received is handed over to Aspo and Sir John, and is reinvested back into the club, then that starts to right his wrongs.

If not... well... then I continue to fear for the club under his ownership.

Not going to offer my own judgement on it all as I promised myself I would stay away now Aspin's in charge.

Only thing I'll add is that Fradley 100% guaranteed at a Supporters Club meeting in the Summer that Smurf wouldn't pocket the Hugill money. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe he said he'd resign if such a thing occurred (though rapidly backtracked when pressed further).

So appointing and funding Aspin isn’t a start? 🙄

I wouldn’t be taking Fradley too seriously when it comes to anything.

If we do get a big seven figure sum from any Hugill sale it would be madness to spend a huge chunk of it immediately. Plan to use it over three or four years, not one big splurge in the next transfer window.

Here we go.. the REP attack dog machine is in full swing again. Yet again you are trying to take a thread off topic through being over protective of Norman. As I have said before you jump down the throat of anyone that gives an opinion on Norman which isnt 'give him a 100% clean slate'.

That makes people think that you are in his arse pocket... if you are not, which I don't think you are, then you may wish to consider you messaging... because that's 100% how you come across.

To answer your question, the appointment of Aspin and Rudge stopped the free fall of bad emotion. It didnt start to rebuild Normans reputation in my eyes. That would be like someone who is being charged with physical assault asking for credit because they eventually stopped punching.

One more bad appointment and even you would have said something mildly bad about the chap :laugh:

As I said, when discussing the topic of the thread, what he does with the Hugill money will be very telling and is an actual opportunity that Norman has to prove to fans that he can right his wrongs.

Unfortunately we know what will happen with the money. Norman will say that he isnt going to comment on how much goes into the club but that there has been an investment back into the club. That will lead people like me to say its not enough, and people like you to say that it is and he has done the right thing.

Now back on topic please

You brought it in to have a cheap jibe once again at the owner, if you don’t want people to pick you up on your obviously misjudged postings don’t post.

Yet again it’s people that don’t like him having a dig and brushing over the good he’s done.

It’s absolutely his right to do whatever he wants with any money that comes into the club as he was the person that negotiated the deal.

It’s flipping tiresome. Call off your dogs
