Unless a quality. manager comes for the challenge or to rebuild his reputation after a bad failure I cannot see NS paying out the required dosh to attract proven quality. I cannot see why the Lincoln management would want to come to us. Whilst NS is at the helm I can see us retaining Brown for some time.

Nonsense. He might be difficult to work for but Micky managed it for a long time and did a decent job. He didn't resign because of Smurf that is absolute garbage and something youd like to believe. It was because he got bored, he even said so himself. I know every post of yours on here has to have something to do with your disdain for Smurf but is there a minute chance you could try and stick to facts and not hyperbole?

Sometimes certain managers and players fit certain clubs. Look at what Pope did before Vale and after he left. Awful. If that was any other player he would be getting slated on here for his record but because we have seen what he can do he gets an easy ride (understandable)

While he resigned due to the untenable run of poor performances, I would be extremely surprised if escaping from NS wasn't a big factor in pushing him over the edge.

 

To that end I'm very much looking forward to his autobiography coming out a month on Thursday....
