Time to go, nothing has changed since last year, clueless play, crazy hap hazard recruitment and losing consistently. Can't see us getting anything from Crewe, Luton or Coventry by which point we could already be in a relegation battle to stay in the league

Dead right - who in the right mind makes a caretaker manager who was in charge for 1/2 a season and takes us down.... the manager after such a dismal spell in charge - easy option. It completely the wrong one!

 

 

How many of the other 91 clubs would have appointed him after what happened during his caretaker spell?

 

Would have been bad enough if he had been appointed properly in December and then Garlick/Smurthwaite didn't have the stones to sack him in the summer, but technically we didn't have a manager, to appoint Brown ahead of the dozens of applicants we would have had... totally bizarre.

I now seriously wonder whether Smurf hates our wonderful club & wonderful fans so much that he is TRYING to put us out of business. And this thing of him personally owning the ground still hangs heavily over our heads. Scenario's of Coventry, Charlton, Blackburn, Stockport etc come to mind. God, why do I love football ?

What good will sacking Brown do? The dam is cracking in multiple places and sacking the manager will be the equivalent of sticking a cork in one of the holes.

 

Until we get rid of Smurf and have a root and branch reform we will continue as we are now.
