Hugill money?

Recommended Posts

Which bit

The relegation or the death threats abuse unpleasant confrentation resulting in staying away

I will sell when it is right

Ps Tick Tock your watch has stopped

Norman you will only sell when the club is virtually defunct and ripe for redevelopement only then will you think that honour is satisfied and we have been taught a lesson, that is my honest opinion and I've yet to see anything to change my mind.

So lets play a little game,we know its doubtful but say Smurf decides to put most of the Hugill money back into the club(could be upto 1m) who and being realistic should we target??

Personally i wouldn't mind us putting a cheeky bid in for Kee at Accrington..more than decent at this level and with Barnett and Forester out we could do with another forward.

We could do with a couple of midfielders as we all know,so who could we target in a decent price range?

You might as well sit and muse what you would do with a £1m lottery win - chances of it happening are roughly the same.

Just about to fly back home after witnessing that shower on Saturday.

Even before we went behind there was no atmosphere. It gets worse every time I come over.

I long for the day Norman goes. At the moment we have a club with cancer and only he has the miraculous cure, yet instead of using it and making us healthy again, he continues to watch over as we die a slow death, teasing us about when/if he will help.

Please, please go Norman. I'm at the point now where I couldn't care less who to.

Here we go, go on, get the violin out. You've basically killed our football club along with the passion of not only the Vale, but of football in general for myself (previously a season ticket holder of 15 years) and many I know with your downright arrogance and 'I know best' attitude.

You come on here always feeling sorry for yourself, playing the victim. Well I'm sorry, but when you try and play football manager with a team with fans as passionate as ours you're not gonna just get an "unlucky, try again". And, if I'm honest you've gotten off very lightly. (So far)

This is without mentioning the embarrassment of the players wages getting released and trying to pin the blame on loyal fans.

I hope you read this before it gets deleted, but for what you've done, played with and seriously damaged something that people love and care about so much, purely for your personal ego gain, I wish you nothing but utter misery you vile man.

You just remember, this is our club and not your toy!

Our support is only any good when there's a decent/laddish away support. We're not going to have many good atmospheres this season even if we're top, because the league is made up of plss-pot clubs with poor support. I'm amazed anyone would expect otherwise.

If, Smurf, you are holding on for a big pay-out on Smith then I'd think again, because if Saturdays performance was any indication of what's to come this season then we'll do well to get a bag of shirt buttons for him.

Just to be clear, Norman, can you explain what you mean by "right" please. Do you mean when someone offers you more than the club is worth? Do you mean right for the club or right for you?

I came on here as l was advised it was posted that l am fat and clueless.

The Club will be sold when both a willing seller and buyer can agree just like any other asset

Likewise the value will agreed by both parties

On the subject of this Forum

I had no fixed views re Hugill but my policy both past and present is that any current squad player who produces any form of fee, all would stay with the Club

Not much more to say

So that will be a no to the manager getting the money then to bolster the injury prone squad then?

No buyer will meet your valuation.

The only thing I would add is this:

Why talk about money from Hugill and Smith? neither have been sold yet.

I think it cruel for any fan to criticise Nathan Smith after a 'poor' game by his standards on Saturday. He is by far our 'stand-out' player and worthy of all the accolades that came his way from the carnage of last season. The lad appeared under instruction to go for everything from his captain Kay, who to me was hiding and not leading as I thought he would (again a poor game)

What I will say Norman is that I do appreciate the good you have bought to the club but in all fairness you have managed to turn all the positives to negatives, I'm not sure why? There are many reasons. I remember as a former V2001 shareholder that not so long ago there were issues regarding valuation of the club - look where that ended up along with shareholdes money?

My thoughts after 43 years as a Vale fan are more concerned about what happens on the pitch firstly, without leadership from the owner and subsequent finanacial backing or entities in place to generate income we will witness many more abject displays like Saturdays

I am not really aware of the dealings of previous guard other than the outcome

I like you see a lot of promise in Nathan and good things will come of him

The Club is in good hands now and to be clear l have not had any input or consultation bar one historic issue since then

It would appear the first 20 mins of that game killed alot of the good feeling that had acrued

I am sorry l cannot add more

Sell to Synectics Norman. A huge percentage of Vale fans want to see Carol running the club.

Please Norman, stay off here and monitor what's going on for 10 games. You'll always get abuse every time you post after last season's debacle, to which you apologised for. Let's all rally round and get our club back to L1 asap.

Not necessarily for long. If we win a couple on the bounce the Wycombe debacle will be forgotten. The attendance on Saturday was excellent all things considered.
