As i have said before he hardly gets anything right and what he does get right ends up being what we know or can guess at anyway.

The most interesting question for me was why don't we loan players from Stoke, garlic and brown didn't seem to know the answer, but I'm pretty sure Coates won't allow it, didn't he stop a deal pulis and Adams set up for a player

It said he was fit, delighted to be back from his summer break and raring to go. I knew at that moment it was a hoax.

As for your dig at Michael Brown, may I suggest that he has done damn good business, with the budget he has.

I stated this time last year that if Norman's ridiculous gamble was to go wrong it would take us two years to sort it out.

What I'm most impressed with is how Michael Brown and Colin Garlick have worked in the summer on an obviously limited budget.

We have a decent squad and one that isn't stacked with chancers like last year.

So to bring him to task over a left back and a creative midfielder, when he's had to oversee an almost new squad of players is, quite frankly, out of order.

The window is a month from ending. Rome wasn't built in a day. Unfortunately due to the incompetence of our owner, Michael Brown isn't having to build Rome. He's building the whole of ******* Italy.

Lay off the guy.

I think the Smurf bashing should be put to bed for a bit. Praising the people he employs but still digging at him is a bit daft, in my humble opinion. He said he'd step back and he has and to his credit, the people he;s left it up to are doing a really good job so far; credit where it's due.

 

In re-siging Tom Pope, Smurf, Garlick and Brown did the only thing that would renew optimism in the team. Tom typifies everything the Bruno brigade lacked- genuine passion and understanding of all things Port Vale. I think come May, Popey's contribution to the club will be far greater than what we'll see from his on field performances. Once again, credit where it's due.

 

As for the your point re digging at Brown, I couldn't agree more. I didn't want Michael Brown as manager, I'm not sure I do now either but **** it, he's here, on paper it looks good and he'll get my support. Now is not the time for swiping at the club, it's the time to get behind them.

I think it could take longer than 2 years to sort it out and to get us to the position we were in at the end of the season that Page left. Trouble is you can bet your bottom dollar that the moaning ones won't give the manager or players that long a time to put it right. We are starting again this season, we don't have anything established in terms of a squad or a pattern of play. I'd like to think that Browns given the time to put this mess right.

I'm not going to delete my account because I've "upset" Michael Brown. I put a Tonge in cheek quote about Anton Forrester which was quite obviously a joke because I put a laughing face next to it.

 

The Shalaj tweet was put on because they'd updated the squad on the website and he was on their with a number.
