Dish the dirt...

So after I thread of 'you know something that also know, but I want you to tell everyone...', can anyone shine a light on what the fans apparently should know, but no one is telling us. Dave F's has been slated by a small number for not telling us something. And when those 'in the know' were asked why they didn't say anything, it was apparently to give Dave a chance to reply. He did, and yet no one cam forward. At least 3-4 posters on that thread knew something, and are keeping to themselves. Yet felt ok taking someone else to account for it.

For the sake of this 'openness and transparency' that people keep banging on about, and the vote for deakin's directorship coming up, is anyone going to speak up, or are we to presume there is not enough substance to it to post on a public forum, hence to need for someone else to do it?

On a personal level, with the lack of any 'dirt' being dished, I am quite happy to support the current change being pushed through. If it turns out great, then all is good. If it turns out bad, then those who know something and didn't say will be just as culpable as everyone else.

Good post indeed!

It all smells of something pathetic and meaningless to me. If it was something huge it would be shouted from the rooftops, I reckon when it does come out DeanLeese is going to look stupid.

Fans getting to involved in there club politics is a recipe for disaster whether its be on the board or protest groups as this in fighting is showing.

Don't mix business with pleasure so to speak.

I think more or less change would have come about if people had just stopped attending if they were not happy. To many with there own agendas that have said to much to back down with out losing face.

I agree V2001 "for us all" has caused massive rifts, pity they did not have the money themselves to save the club rather than dragging fans into the politics

This is the exact attitude thats the problem for me.

You appear to have been attending games and not paying but that was disrespectful to your fellow anti boarders who have sacrificed going and people who have to pay to get in.

Good post.

I used to get great pleasure on getting to find out what was going on within the club

I'm now starting to wonder if ignorance is bliss after all.

For now I'm going to just support my team and see what develops.

If in 12 months time I'm stood outside LS again with my B&G scarf I'll quite happily say that I was wrong!
