Scotland v England

For Us All

Recommended Posts

I tend to agree that alli and rashford were worse than Lallana I forgot Alli was on the pitch at one point. That said Lallana was poor you don't exactly have to known for your heading ability to have done better with that chance!

Avg to poor display all round, and yet we were still marginally the better side until getting caught cold on the free kicks, luckily Scotland weren't good enough to see it out, a point gained in the end

Hart's positioning was at fault for both Scotland's goals, he was too far to the right for the first and too far to the left for the second, neither shot was right in the corner, both, especially the first, should have been saved.

Not as bad as David Seaman's positioning for Ronald Koeman's goal in the WC qualifier in Rotterdam....lol

The second free-kick should never have been given?

Completely agree. I have to think that any of the other three!? Keepers would have saved one of them. On that point why did we take four keepers????

Hart has this odd habit of taking a little jump in the air (or to one side) just as a free kick is struck often leaving him fractionally less time to get across goal; enough to make a difference anyway. Not his only flaw but one that needs coaching out of him.
