as you say - traditionally june...so why would you jump to the assumption that this communication means may??? Also, as you say 18th may is a thursday, so, again why would you assume it's advertising an event in may when it says sunday 18th?

Making assumptions and reacting to rumours are two of the reasons there is so much guff on here! But making an erroneous assumption, then blaming vale for poor communication is silly!!!

vale park will host a father’s day luncheon later this month.

the club hosted a similar event on mother’s day and it proved to be a big hit with the valiant suite being fully booked.

The luncheon, to take place on sunday 18th, will include a superb three-course carvery for just £15.00 per person.

It is your chance to celebrate and get together at vale park.

To book please contact the club’s events department on 01782 655823 or email [email protected].

as above

Will not make a jot of difference to me and my 5 mates.

Its a start, but I have no desire to part with £300 that will go straight into Smurf's back pocket.

Soon as new ownership is in, I'll be the first one in the queue at VP to get a ST and new shirt.

Reading that piece in the Sentinel and I didn't realise that last season we had nearly 3500 season ticket holders. I think that shows that our matchday prices are too expensive to tempt the walk ups, that should be the next one to be cut to see if the matchday attendances can be increased because we won't be getting too many big away followings next season to boost crowds, or as said earlier offering a good value multiple game ticket deals.

So the early bird price has been reduced but not the ST price?

or the ST price has been reduced but only for the early bird offer?... same same just for the pedantic.

Does that include the age upping ? [just for the early bird]

As it says it isnt reducing the price but is increasing the savings... [if you buy early]

Its an offer... I suppose... but would it tempt me to rush out and spend my savings so smurf didnt have to spend his?

How some keep harping about going into Normans back pocket, surly whoever owns to club needs funds to keep club running through closed season, and a decent budget to get player in to give us a chance of some success in the new season, give Colin Garlick and M.B. Management team a chance, let leave Smurf in the background and support our team.u.t.vale,

I for one question where the £400,000 of season ticket money from the 13/14 season went, and where the Grant and Alnwick money went, as we certainly haven't seen it yet. I am not convinced that he won't keep dipping his hands into the club, and until he's completely gone I don't feel comfortable parting with my money. As soon as I'm certain it isn't going to him, I'll be spending near £500.
