Season Ticket Prices/Sales

Recommended Posts

Statistics eh?

Considering the drop, few signings, state of play and shambolic admin at the club at the club it doesnt sound bad just a few short of last years total of issued tickets...

bearing in mind its the number of "ISSUED" tickets not sold tickets thats been released we have to consider how the extended sales period and the increased child free age affected the numbers.

Given, in these circumstances, that stats are usually released to show the numbers in the best possible light its fair to assume the picture isnt quite as rosy as it seems.

A far better comparison would be the amount of money taken for the number issued for both seasons.

EG

16/17 issued 3,000 = £600,000

17/18 issued 3,000 = £500,000

{£200 used as a round figure for ST price]

Im not suggesting the issued numbers are bad.... just immaterial

Perhaps one figure includes the free st's for kids etc. and the other doesn't.

Think the statement said both figures include the free kids st's, though this season's figures could include a few more free ones due to the age increase from u 9s to u12s.

I think we we see more sold as the time gets closer to the season kick off there are still a number of fans who are not as financially strapped who alays leave it till the last minute plus whats stopping the under 12's from getting one right up to kick off anyway...they're FREE!!

If i remember right, you can only get a free under 12 ticket with a paying adult ticket - or have a dreamt that?

The Flex 10 prices would seem to indicate walk up prices the same as last season. Spose the Flex 10 still makes sense if you work shifts for example and can only make that many games.

I hope u wrong about walk up prices .

If u r a football fan and your friends all support Vale and u dont u support say Man utd ( only on the telly u dont go etc ) and your friends r badgering u go u hardly going go if its 22 /23 quid but a reasonable price say 16 quid u would probably go just so u could be with ya m8s .

With the ten match flexi tickets u choose the best 10 games go and only pay 18 quid a game .

Whats stopping the Vale keeping this ten game thing throughout the season as Bob /Bill etc may pay 90 quid each now and if Brownys team r winning and playing well then they would surely want another .

Im glad they brought this out as not everyone can go every game but two not so well off people can save themselves a few quid .

Matchday pricing as to be a different gravy altogether .

Port Vale V Crewe

Category 1 say 21 quid .

Port Vale v Stevenage

Category 3 15 quid same for 35 away supporters

Etc do u get my drift Garlick Fradley Smurf or whoever has the brain cell .

Good to see that fans have kept the faith with NS given that we've sold almost as many ST's as last year.

Whether it's the Pope effect or Fradley/Garlick/Brown, does it really matter?

Time to unite behind Smurf and what he's trying to do to the Club.
