Potential Season Ticket Incentives

Not at all' date=' he had no legal obligation. That said I personally would have continued to honour given the advanced ages of most affected but that is dead and buried now.[/quote']

He had a moral obligation having told us 12 months previously that he would. On the basis of that promise I actually bought a spare season ticket that year as a "thank you" to the club. That worked out well didn't it? It might well be dead and buried but it doesn't mean it's forgotten.

That's the problem with British people in general, they can't move on.

Why not try being positive rather than consistently negative.

I see Porter suggests ST prices need to change, maybe the supporters club can put a detailed proposal together with a variety of suggested ST incentives for next season at their next meeting whenever that is.

Are you really being critical of someone who goes to every match, spent thousands on a lifetime ticket, was promised it would be honoured and then found out this would not be the case?

How can you be positive about that situation? I'm surprised Jacko didn't simply turn her back on the club at that point, many would've.

REP, that's a low point for you. The removal of the 'Lifers' season ticket plan was a shameful act for something that basically cost the club no money. How many people was it? 50? Most of those people also gave up their time to volunteer at the club too, so the club actually benefited from having these people there as well. They were well worth keeping on side.

This club needs more people like Jean and Eddie. Not some ***** driving people like that away. There wouldn't be a club without people like them.

Maybe the ST club could come up with an detailed proposal of incentives. But I certainly think fans in the past have tried a number of ways to implore the club to spend more time and money getting people to watch us. They haven't, instead they keep rinsing the diehards of as much money as possible. When you're borrowing business ideas from V2001, then you know you're ******.

Come on REP. Jean and Eddie do NOT deserve any kind of criticism or knock down. They both put reasoned debates/comments/constructive ideas on here and follow the Vale through absolute thick and thin. They are entitled to their opinion on the way they and some others were treated. You are better than that! Do not alieanate the very back bone of our support.

Jean has made many relevant points as have others repeatedly but the Owner has seen fit to ignore the vast majority of common sense. Fellow Valiants ought not to be at each other's throats, we ought to be standing together. I realise you are a dedicated fan with Vale's interests at heart but there are times when your posts can rile even the mild mannered of us!

Quite a staggering generalization of an entire nationality. What do you think would happen if a chairman pulled that stunt at a German club?

Every now and then I see a post from REP and I give him the benefit of the doubt for all the ridiculous posts that went before. He comes across sometimes as a genuine Vale fan that is a little bit misled.

Than he makes a post like the one above, and it just makes it clear that he's on here as a WUM. Nothing more, nothing less. Vale being relegated has hurt a lot of people, genuine Vale fans are gutted. REP smugly rubs his hands together and looks forward to winding people up on here.

To target Jean, and other fans that have been treated appallingly by the parasite that runs our club, shows the lengths he will go to to wind people up. There's seriously no point giving him the time of day anymore. It's not that he just has a different opinion, there are a small handful of people that play devils advocate on here in a respectful way.

Not REP. He falls into the category of; Martino, Penny Black, Regal Beagle and a few others that simply come on here to stir things up. Incredibly sad people, who I won't be wasting anymore of my time on. They're all ******** as far as I'm concerned.
