The masters starts tomorrow. I can't see past Dustin Johnson in the form he is in at the moment but will be having each ways on Marc Leishman, Paul Casey and Westwood. Think Rorys putting will let him down and Jordan may be haunted by last year horror show.

Hard to look past DJ and Rory for a winner but the high winds forecast for Thurs & Fri in GA could derail 'em both but on the other side of the coin it's been wet In GA and the course isn't running as fast and the greens may be more receptive.

 

As outsiders Paul Casey and Jon Rahm are playing well and I have my annual hope that one day Westwood will win a major but his short game will no doubt let him down once again.

Funny enough i just read something about the winner usually being in the top ten after the first or second day, so backed michelson first 5 at 15/1

Had DJ to win for the past 5 years. This course is set up perfectly for him, gutted he's had to withdraw. Had Soren Kjeldsen each way. Great player, saw him at the British Masters at Woburn in 2015. He struggles at the majors over 4 rounds though so hope he doesn't fade away. Well positioned at the moment though. Nearly went for Fitzpatrick after he finished so well last year, easy to forget he did so well last year after Willet's success. Love the Masters. One of the top 5 sporting events I'd like to see before I die.

Incredible days' golf at Augusta, a tremendous day in store for tomorrow, weather forecast to be good so some players could go low. Still my fingers crossed for Westwood but he's 2 or 3 shots too far back unless.....

 

The short game play is just mind boggling, how do they do that, like chipping in an enamal bath tub.
