Charity Golf Day

Is there enough golfers using this forum that we could start a charity golf day once or twice or year? Looking at trying to sort something out around June/July time. Would be good to put faces to names whilst raising some much needed cash for local charities. So if youre a golfer (off scratch or 28 or anything in between!) and would be interested post here and can get an idea of numbers to start.

There's a few golfers that travel on the official away coaches, not sure if they come on here. I know because on away trips they talk about nothing else but golf.

Would give my right arm to turn up but am 3000 miles away and no plans to come to the UK at the moment.

 

Can't wait for the Masters, will be middle of April here before any chance to play golf, 6" of snow on the ground.

The sun is out here Paul the courses are drying out and green work will be completed in a couple of weeks. Almost perfect.

 

Looking for minimum 20 platers for the charity day and also sponsors for prizes etc

This will be the first charity day I've organised so if there is anyone who has been involved in setting one up any tips would be appreciated.
