London has 10 million people, even with the odd nutcase around you're not likely to be caught up in it. I work in London every day all over the city. Got to carry on doing the same otherwise the fash have won, which ever strain they operate under. #londonunited

RIP to those who lost their lives today.

London has been excellent in handling this, and past terrorist attacks. It looks like the police took this guy out

very quickly, but it's sad that innocent people were killed.RIP. Condolences to all the families affected in such a fine city,

and prayers for the injured that they may recover. #londonunited

I think the Brits, especially the Met have an advantage over our European friends via our history of attacks so are well prepared and trained. Places like Germany and France are not as rehearsed as they have no history with this sort of activity.

Unfortunately this will not be the last attack but these ****** will not affect the way we live. I have seen a few ****** on social media blaming en mass groups of our country. Like any extremist with little tolerance for others don't let these cretins cause division amongst us, that is their goal.

Heartbreaking this. Absolutely horrible world we're in.

Whilst events such as this are horrible beyond words they are thankfully very rare...we must not let these people change us, we must not let these people make us think differently of the world..that is part of what they want to achieve.

Don't they all?

Teresa May, Tim Fallon and Jeremy Corbyn paid dignified respects, as did mayor of London Sidique Khan, a genuine man who I strongly believe is just as aghast and upset about this sort of attack as the others.

So I find it disgraceful andvile that Farage uses this tragedy as an opportunist moment not only to attack multiculturalism (which he is entitled to do - but the timing stinks) and to make a personal attack on Mr Khan, distorting his previous remarks.

Mr Khan represents British values much more accurately than Nigel Farage, who would have been much happier if he had been around in the Munich beerhalls in the 1930s.

RIP Pc Keith Palmer.

Yes, a truly brave man, unarmed and willing to defend our values, and also the Tory MP who tried to save his life and deserves much credit.

RIP also to the other innocents, and hoping for speedy and full recovery of those injured.

Mr Khan whom appeared on stage with an ISIS terrorist. Mr Khan whom backs the wearing of the veil...these are not British values

Distortion and lies on your part - its quite likely many politicians have appeared on stage with people whose views they despise.

It is a British value to allow anyone to wear what they want, although if wearing something becomes a security issue then it warrants possible change.

But Khan has condemned ISIS and terrorism many times - don't try to make out he hasn't. He also showed respect to those who lost their lives, so please don't try to make political capital out of their tragedy. The policeman and the other victims (I don't include the assailant) deserve better from you.
