I've still got my Black and Gold scarf. I hope it does turn nasty post Bolton and the useless weapon and his freaky daughter get a police escort out of Burslem. My 9-year old daughter now attends home matches with me and can easily get sensitive over the least whiff of mither, so I doubt I would personally engage in any vitriolic protest. Going back to 2011, I was spat at by some vermin on Hamil Road during a Black and Gold march to the main reception. I'd happily take such abuse again tomorrow if the end result was this **** hounded out of our beloved football club and brand new ownership and sensible, forward direction.

Good point. Some of the abuse that B&G'ers got was frightening and TBH I guess that they wouldn't sticks their necks out again. Who can blame them.

 

I remember during early protests being spat at and having abuse hurled at me and others,also when entering the ground late(part of a protest) with placards and banners we were abused and booed,on here when posting about interested parties being ignored i was shouted down by many and also got abusive pm's which didn't bother me as half hadn't got the balls say it to your face,Glenn sent a few of them as well until he **** himself when i collared him at Bury,so you are correct in what you say,i am done with any protests at all,let others do it now if they want
