I've just seen the 1st half of the reserve game, looked decent made a few good saves and but you could here and see him talking a lot to the team.

Something a lot of our keepers fail to do.

I would image this keeper is with a view to having a first choice keeper next season. None of the current bunch (Fasan will have gone back) seem ready or able just now.

He was valued at £100k, but did we bid anywhere near that amount - probably not.

Yes i am a regular at Falkirk reserves, if you are happy us signing a back up keeper instead of a vital centre half or goalscorer then that is your opinion.

A guy who ends up at Falkirk reserves has hardly got me salivating, particularly when we have back up already.

The club is an absolute pantomine, i guess we will sign an out of contract midfielder next to go with the other 26 we have in the squad.

Also seeing as Mehmet is obviously just what we are needing, football can be a very harsh game and takes no prisoners.

Clearly Ryan Boot is not going to feature now till the end of the season, would it not be best to pay him up and get him off the books?

Harsh i know but we aint got the proverbial ' pot to pee in ' yet are collecting goalkeepers like some sort of trophy.

It was me for suggesting that we keep UK agencies onside rather than making enemies with them, which may just hasten the departure of key players...

I'm still very upset about the way this season has gone, and critical of the way the club has been run - but at least this is an attempt to makle a small step to see if things can be put right.

 

The player deserves a chance, and may prove to be another JA, we just don't know, but this keeper is definitely not to blame for all the bad choices and decisions over the last few months so lets welcome him to Vale and support him.

 

If a couple more players with some experience can be found for the outfield positions where we are lacking, then all the better.

 

Look how Bury have turned things round with 3 wins since Lee Clarke joined as boss there too - we are not down yet and football is full of amazing escape stories. The odds are massively against us now but we have to hope,
