Yep, just as the first two are finding form, we're away vs Northampton so that's a write off, and no doubt Coventry will win that daft cup in front of 40,000 of their own fans at Wembley and will go on a run.

 

I just cannot see a way out now; we just cannot defend properly. The Bradford goals watched back are just the stuff on nightmares, especially the first with bl**dy Purkiss again!

Don't anybody mention games in hand is all. We've won two games in four months. Well be playing two games a week for the rest of the season at this rate and we've averaged a goal a game so far. Dead and buried. vale will get the OBE - out before Easter.

I hope the players are not looking on here tonight because everyone seems to have given up hope. We are 5 points behind not 15 points and still have 3 games in hand over most teams. For me I think if we can get that one win it will give these players confidence that they are lacking to kick on, still think we are due a change of lucky myself.

 

I am sure Bury and Swindon fans were saying similar things a few weeks ago and they have won 3 and 2 games on the bounce. People saying we might need championship form, we need 16 points from 14 games to get to 50 points, it will be hard but not impossible.

Tonight's results are irrelevant as if we don't get the points ourselves we don't deserve to stay up. We need 6 wins or 5 wins + 3 draws out of 14 games. If we get them we'll stay up, if we don't we won't and tonight's results will have bearing on that fact!

Vale have to win two of the games in hand just to climb out of the relegation zone. How does a team win games that looks likely to concede and doesn't score many goals? and Bruno used up Vale's portion of lady luck for the season.

 

I hope that MB is seriouslt looking at the out of contract market for a striker and a central defender.

Doesn't look good reading but ..... Let's treat Southend as a bonus game then we have Swindon,Northampton & Shrewsbury to play. If we can get 3 points in each of these games, it brings the teams around us closer and we give ourselves a fighting chance with games in hand and a bit of confidence. Swindon really is the pivotal game of the season and I would urge all fans to get to VP to support the team!
