That's 2 games in a row now where he's not been up to standard. But let's say we drop Purkiss and bring in Gibbons, I can't see us being able to go with 2 inexperienced full backs. So if Gibbons comes in then I think we could see Knops come in for Tanser.

What did he say?

He was very critical of the pre-season, said the players weren't fit enough and not enough work had been done on player conditioning so we were having to do a mini pre-season in the last few weeks. He also said players were in their comfort zone under Bruno.

That's interesting. Having three club captains, of which he was/is one was all very strange. Nice one Norman, Bruno was a great appointment wasn't he?

New managers at every level say that..its called getting your excuses in early in an attempt to shift blame when it goes ×××× up on your watch

Smurf has not got the capacity to learn from his mistakes. We need a small squad of quality players. Another round of transfers in the recent window and we have yet again failed to sign any significant quality up front. Hence we continue to look tame up front and rarely threaten the opponents goal.

If they (Peterborough) not played a keeper today they would have won 3-1 !!!!

The club will not recover from this slump and decline until we have a more stable owner who is prepared to put trust in the football people he employs to manage the football!

He's been pants this season, he really has. And I don't want to knock the guy too much as it's still early doors and he's a young lad, but our new left-back looks miles away from being League One level too. Obviously it makes things even more difficult coming into a struggling side that's seemingly relegation bound.

As a matter of principle, I usually shy away from criticising individual players, but I have to say that of late, Purkiss is being found out too often. His positional play over most of this season has been sadly lacking and although players will always make individual mistakes from time to time, again, Ben Purkiss has been one of the main culprits, making far too many sloppy mistakes. Not sure what the answer is, as we don't have any ready identifiable replacement.
