Him and Tanser are both awful. Not sure what's happened, he was one of the players of the season last season. Maybe it's age catching up on him.

He isn't on top form and I guess he knows it more than we do but it doesn't help when he's playing with a different lad in front of him every game and a midfield that can't get a grip on the game. He has been poor but with no defensive cover we're stuck with a player out of form and low on confidence. As I said the other day, we needed defensive cover on deadline day and didn't get any.

He seems to be the new dodds, people are ready to pounce especially where i sat even before te bsll got to him yet walker who was the worse player today didnt have a word said about him= Yes purkiss isnt in the best of form but to kick him and not others who were worse aint great-dont think some of the balls to him were great putting him in a bad position

The problem we've got is that normally we'd replace a player out for form and rest him for a couple of weeks, but we've got no-one to replace Purkiss. The squad remains totally unbalanced.

That's 2 games in a row now where he's not been up to standard. But let's say we drop Purkiss and bring in Gibbons, I can't see us being able to go with 2 inexperienced full backs. So if Gibbons comes in then I think we could see Knops come in for Tanser.

That's interesting. Having three club captains, of which he was/is one was all very strange. Nice one Norman, Bruno was a great appointment wasn't he?

It says it all that Michael Brown started today with just a single signing of Bruno's ( de Freitas). He clearly doesn't rate Reggie, and Amoros, Shalaj, Mbamba, Perreira Tavares Kiko etc are clearly not in his plans.

Smurf has not got the capacity to learn from his mistakes. We need a small squad of quality players. Another round of transfers in the recent window and we have yet again failed to sign any significant quality up front. Hence we continue to look tame up front and rarely threaten the opponents goal.

If they (Peterborough) not played a keeper today they would have won 3-1 !!!!

The club will not recover from this slump and decline until we have a more stable owner who is prepared to put trust in the football people he employs to manage the football!
