He actually 'lost' by nearer to 3m votes, but that is irrelevant as far as the election result is concerned because the USA's constitution set-up the electoral college system whereby each state has a proportional amount of votes depending upon population numbers/size and they vote for one candidate--hence his large majority overall from the constitutional system. Those are the rules and to argue anything else is like saying we scored 4 goals, that were all offside, but if there was no offside rule we would have won!!

I'm pretty sure the USA was less divided before trump came along. Never known riots and protests before someone even starts. From the most internationally respected statesman to a joke candidate who has surrounded himself with religious extremists, climate change deniers and fruit cakes.

He had the right to ignore them when he didn't even know what the question was? I fundamentally disagree with you..whilst what CNN did was wrong in a free country CNN has the right to ask its questions and the public has the right to hear the president's answer and the president has the right to give his answer and have it reported.

 

By ignoring them he denies CNN its rights to ask the question, he denies the listening public their right to hear the question and the answer..he's basically tried to control the media and what the public is allowed to hear.
