I think we all wish him well Tony. He came across as a warm and lovely bloke. But he was clearly out of his depth and couldn't manage at league one level in England.

I don't blame him for having a go but the man who promoted him way above his capabilities.

 

Unless you have a lot of good players in your team I think a lot of managers, I would agree, go out on a damage limitation mission, as we did on Saturday. But 99% of the time you end up losing anyway so you might as well 'have a go' in my view.

No, it needs airing - if we can have 500 pages on Brexit and your long ramblings on other political subjects, surely important Vale stuff can be discussed, even if it doesn't support your agenda to talk about certain things.

Do we want our manger to be a nice man? I want him to be a right s0d when necessary. But good luck to Bruno, I am sure he did his best.

 

As someone who doesn't get to matches very often I'm always reluctant to comment on players, performances etc but it does seem that we simply have a large number of players who are not good enough so we have to recruit a small number that are..we're firefighting and need someone in the club who can handle that.

Makes you wonder if that's the reason Jones left, Bruno signed him he scored goals for Bruno maybe just maybe Jones leaving had something to do with Bruno leaving.

Page - a nice decent bloke, treated badly in the way Vale got rid of him but ultimately a poor, negative, uninspiring manager. From a footballing perspective I don't miss him despite the mire we are in at the moment. The Northampton media described him in broadly the same way.

Well he signed two of them. One of them he made a scapegoat and wasted the talent of.

Yes, although the usual suspect will predictably try and play this down, just like they assigned blame to Page for re-signing "deadwood" Ryan Lloyd but then ejaculated praise over their beloved chairman for doing just that. Just like they try to claim Dean Glover signed Grant when in NS's own words, it was Page. Problem is, facts like that don't sit well with their hastily formed, chairman-sanctioned agenda.
