My boss is a Grimsby fan, he says he's never been that impressed with him but he's very steady and has won their player of the season the last two years in a row, so he must be doing something right to win over Bogle.

I would take him tbh,decent record at this level and as for Grant,if we get near on 100k for him then good,i dont think he is the same player and i would actually like to see what Foley and Guy are like together in the middle...i just hope they put a clause in that he cant play saturday

If Grant goes then I think we need to buy a holding midfielder. Guy isn't that player, hes more of a box to box midfielder. Foley would be wasted playing in Grants role too.

I agree. Whilst Granty was easily player of the year last year, his performances and lack of discipline don't make him a must-keep player anymore. We'll move on, we've lost better players than Grant before and survived.

But Grant is too slow on the ball for the way Brown wants to play. We'll miss the defensive side of his game, but not his distribution. It's not going to be a catastrophic move on our part to let him go.
