Boxing: Fights coming up

Errol Spence was too much for Danny Garcia, Spence pressured Garcia the whole fight and gave Garcia little opportunity to use  his big left hand. I couldn't understand why Garcia didn't take a few more risks and open up more but I guess the answer is he'd felt Spence's power and opted to be cautious.

Crawford vs Spence has to get made, mouthwatering contest between the two best Welterweights on the planet by far.

Solid performance from AJ tonight. Pulev can take a punch

Joshua-Fury 2021 has to happen now

Yeah. It was a bit odd how he took his foot off the gas after round 3. Almost like he wanted a few more rounds under his belt. But decent effort against a decent fighter. Still think a fully firing Furry will be too clever for him.

I imagine ring dust could have been there possibly. His post match interview was strange. Almost angry at his own performance and tried to dodge the fury questions.

I agree i think fury would out box AJ. At this point I just want the fight to happen already sick of all the talking and hype about it now

Didn't watch the fight live but watched highlights and it looked a good performance by AJ, could have been stopped earlier when Pulev turned his back on AJ. Looking at Pulev's record it looked a "Relatively safe" fight for AJ in that Pulev doesn't have a big KO punch.

Fury vs AJ is what everyone wants but AJ vs Wilder would be a very tasty and explosive encounter.

Agree with Wilder Aj.

I suppose the question now is when will fury fight wilder especially if they are contracted for one more fight. I'd imagine Fury will want a warm up fight first also

AJ also has a mandatory challenge in Usyk to deal with. If both men win their fights respectively we could get a huge uk title fight end of the year maybe.

My understanding is that Fury is no longer contractually obliged to do a Wilder rematch, and that since AJ has just done a mandatory he will be cut some slack on the next one. So should be good to go in late spring/early summer.

Fury would surely need a fight in the meantime though, and his camp don't seem to proposing much. AJ Wilder, well Wilder seems a bit off the radar at the minute after Fury dismantled him. Plus what would be in for AJ? He's done his bit for now. The ball is in Fury's court.

Joshua-Fury will likely be a two fight deal with BT and sky getting a piece of the pie each.

Rumours are Fury will be fighting Takam or Kabayel early next year for his return.

Joshua and wilder would be a decent scrap i reckon although like you said Wilder has been caught out finally after all the hype. I believe he is in talks to fight 40 something ortiz again for the 3rd time

Whatever happens BPV I still don't know how Fury got up from that 12 Rd knockdown in the first fight, it was superhuman.

Great refereeing by Jack Reese not to stop it and Reese was generous with the time he allowed Fury before letting the fighters back at each other, it gave Fury further vital time to recover.

Easy win for triple G last night, he hasn't slowed down at all.

Will be rooting for Smith tonight although I can't see him stopping Canelo.

If Canelo wins hopefully we get the trilogy with Golovkin.

BPV, I didn't know GGG was fighting 'til I saw the highlights posted on Youtube, such is the current fractious nature of  boxing coverage in the USA, first GGG fight I've missed since he came to the USA. Tremendous performance by GGG, the opponent was his mandatory challenger and he was out classed by a mile, he'd not fought anyone of note even though he was a European Middleweight Champ so I assume his 21-0-0 record was "managed".

Would love to see GGG vs Canelo III, GGG won the first fight if it hadn't been for one of the judges sleeping through the fight.

Will watch tonight's bout, it's on DAZN over here, think Callum's got a good chance 'cause he's a true Super Middleweight although Canelo does have the upper body physique of a Light Heavyweight.

Completey agree with everything about GGG one of my favourite fighters to watch. I still feel angry whenever I think about the decision in the second canelo GGG fight. Golovkin was robbed.

DAZN has launched in the UK also ,only 2 quid a month which is a bargain but with eddie hearn on board I can only imagine the prices will rise.

I think Canelo will get the win with body shots same as he did with Fielding. Although I'd absolutely love it if Smith pulls it off and gets the win
