Will be interesting to see how he does , especially in the stacked and competitive middleweight division.

I think Scott Lawton was the last boxer from Stoke to get a big fight on telly facing Amir Khan.

I watched a couple of Youtube videos of Kaash Buttery's fights, he looks impressive also and is only 21  but again I don't think he's fought a fighter with a winning record so it's hard to judge where he stands. He says he's looking to challenge for the Midlands Lightweight title so looking to go up in class so kudos to the guy  I hope he does well also.

Checked out the stats for that 1st round.

Hagler landed 50 from 82 and Hearns 56 from 83 !

First time I remember seeing “Marvellous Marvin” was sometime in the mid 70’s when he dismantled Alan Minter to claim the Brits WBA & WBC titles. Excellent at the dark arts of the game and one tough cookie !

Joshua-Fury has been agreed for a two fight deal next year. I wonder if they will do it in Wembley or saudi Arabia

Assuming that they respectively beat Pulev and Wilder in their mandatories. Its never straightforward with heavyweight boxing - there's always some obstacle/politics (....corruption/bullshyyte!) gets in the way of making the real big fights happen.

I'm still gutted that the talentless git Wilder gets to have a third bout with Fury after being massively outclassed in the first two - just know that he'll get lucky and land one of his wild, windmilling right hands on Fury and balls up the proper unification fight.

Very true. The contracts haven't been signed yet I believe which makes me think this still might not happen due to frank Warren and eddie hearn greed. With it being a two fight deal I wonder if the agreement will be sky have one and BT have the second one.

If wilder loses,  that's him done in my opinion. Although I can see Joshua and Fury both finishing up in the next two years and going onto other projects which will leave the heavyweight division lacking of any big stars until Dubois is ready

So Jarrell Miller banned again ! That's his career done now in my opinion. Carlos Takam take his place next Thursday which is the first fight since the pandemic started I believe?

Matchroom have also announced 3 nights of boxing across August with whyte vs povetkin being one of them.

Should be interesting seeing it in Eddie's backgarden. With UFC I have personally enjoyed the no fans as you can here the corner team and the fights have been fantastic
