Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury in LA on Saturday night. Two undefeated heavyweights, all depends whether Wilder can land a big right hand, it will be curtains for Fury if he does. Fury can box and has a herky jerky style so may be able to avoid it but Wilder is very athletic for a big guy. Wilder for me by KO, fascinating bout.

After so long out of the ring against a decent opponent, it’s difficult to see a Fury win. But then again, who gave him a chance against Klitschko ?

Fury’s ringcraft makes him difficult to hit, but I don’t see him opening Wilder up, unless the American gets frustrated and loses concentration.

I see Fury going deep into the bout, but running out of steam in the later stages.

Wilder to take it in the 9th.

Then Eddie, can we PLEASE finally see Wilder v AJ in April ?

One judge scored 115-111 Wilder ! Even with two rounds going 10-8 Wilder for the knockdowns, that seems incredibly harsh.

It seems inconceivable that a rematch won’t be both fighters next bout, so where does that leave AJ’s April slot ? If he was to take the winner of the rematch, that now won’t happen for at least 12 months.

However, fair play to Fury. This was his night. Not many,if any, would have survived that final round onslaught. But yet again in a big match up, there’s as much talk about the standard of judging as to the bout itself.

That should NOT happen.

I'm not a fan of Fury atall but he should have won that. Totally outboxed Wilder most of the fight. Second time this year a controversial decision has happened With American boxing

How Tyson got up from that second knock down is unbelievable . Hell of a performance from Fury

I also thought Fury won, Fury was the much busier fighter whereas Wilder was relying too much on one punch. The English judge called it a draw, the American gave it to Fury and the Mexican to Wilder.

How Fury got up is beyond me, he looked spark out, even unconscious but he somehow got up, I still can't believe it now, Wilder thought it was all over. He was caught with a power right hand and as he was on his way down Wilder caught him flush on the chin with a left hook

Much kudos to Jack Reiss the American referee on two occasions, first when Fury was knocked down in the 9th he took much time to determine Fury was OK to continue albeit giving Fury more time to recover then when Fury was on the canvass in the 12th he counted the full 10 count and gave Fury every chance rather than stopping the bout there and then as Fury looked clean out.

My view (For what it's worth) of Fury is he's more of a character than anything else and after that resurrection he has my utmost respect as a boxer. Truly unbelievable.

Decided to stay up for the Canelo fight this morning. Good effort from Rocky but those bodyshots from Canelo were to much for him . Rematch with GGG next ? Or maybe a fight with Callum Smith at Anfield ?

Katie Taylor was fantastic once again the speed on her punches are second to none .

That young Ryan Garcia seems a real talent , definitely one Golden boy will promote big time next year

I didn't know the fight was on, it was streamed over here on DAZN whatever the f that is but there was no prior advertising of the fight that I saw.

I'm still reeling from HBO pulling out of televising boxing all together, 45 odd years of the best coverage and the best commentators in sport IMHO have come to an end, Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman, Roy Jones, Larry Merchant and the never to be forgotten Emanuel Steward were incomparable.

As usual in boxing there seems to so many dubious figures circling looking to make a quick buck.

DAZN seems to be going for all the sports lately . The money Canelo will make from the deal is ridiculous. They really are desperate to make him the face of boxing .

Two big fights last night , frampton and Warrington was a good fight surprised Warrington won .

Chisora - Whyte was a predictable yet enjoyable slug fest . Whyte - Joshua II at Wembley ??

I'd be disappointed if Hearn decided to go with Joshua - Miller . Miller has showed nothing yet and hasn't really beaten anyone of note .

Wilder

Fury

Whyte

Pulev

Usyk

Heavyweight division certainly getting stacked
