Well I paid £26 but would rather not have watched them' date=' they made it impossible sadly and Jacko is right they were the moronic element.[/quote']

About 20 odd fans from an away following of 1156, so 1130 odd were normal well behaved fans, yet no one seems to mention this.

Because we were the decent well behaved normal fans. Personally I don't expect a comendation for being able to control myself as a normal human being. It's sad it really is.

What actually happened on Saturday then? How many arrests? Who wasn't acting like a normal human being?

Do you think that port vale is the only club to have fans who like a drink? Do you think port vale is the only club that has fans who sing on trains? Do you think port vale is the only club that has fans that get animated by referee decisions?

Like it or not, it's part of football. Has been for decades. Do we have to go on about every little issue that happens at away games? We get it.

If Vale let you down and you feel like arguing, become one of those sad ****** who supports a second 'bigger' team then go and watch them play on Tv and post endless bile about it on here - simples.

Most people I know who like football agree that having an obsessive interest in more than one team is, well..... I'll stop there.

I'm obsessed with all things Port Vale , and happy to be that way till I die. UTV :upthevale:

Yes, exactly - I'd guess that you wouldn't go on to the fans website of a gimpy Premiership team and sprout interminable rubbish about the formations, players and tacics of some completely different club as if you were some kind of expert.

Im not sure what "normal" is.

I dont accept that getting rat assed is part of football, it may well be part of some fans lives but its not part of football just because some do it.

Making an ass of yourself is a choice, Ive done it on occasion and alcohol can help make that choice.

I doubt there has ever been a game of football where every official decision has been agreed with, I doubt there ever will be. I doubt that many will be changed because a few spectators disagree with them.... but that has become part of football.

I don't expect a commendation either, but let's keep this in perspective. Was there any fighting?,no.

Was anyone assaulted?, no.

Was any damage done to the ground? I.e., broken seats etc, no.

All that happened is 20 or so fans surged towards the front to berate the linesman for not giving the ball out which lead to a Bolton goal.

Arguing between fans well im forever arguing with a lad at work about Vale when Pope played for Vale i liked him he didnt but i still like the bloke ,he is entitled to his opinion .

Like the few times he been away this season i havent been at all and i comment on the games and he says u werent there so how can u comment and in a way he is right but free speech and all

Fans will always have different opinions on players like i liked Louis Dodds because he puts a real shift in u know but me friends brother doesnt .

People argue it happens its no big deal ,fans drink ,fans sing although not at premier league games it seems .

What you need to do is sit down, keep quiet and just observe the game. That makes you a "real" fan.

Tempers always flair when the team is struggling and whatever is happening on the pitch every team has its minority of moronic supporters. Yes drink doesn't help.

Wish we were talking about the passion and fight shown on the pitch by our players. Seems those qualities are only shown by the fans.

That's the difference between loyal supporters and mercenaries for hire
