There is no reason why Glenn could not have resigned now as a Director and continued to work for the new investment whilst not on the Board.

Or even done the same as Bratty and signed a resignation letter that would be implemented as soon as the investment is secured.

So why should anything change? They havent, Why should we trust their word after all the lies? Are you privvy to something the rest of us dont know, Dave?

No-one is over the moon with the proposed investment bid because details of it have not yet been released.

I think 'the Board' should now be judged as since when Mike Lloyd became Chairman. yes he was part of the previous Board and voted with them so that is a major concern.

From now on we judge Mike Lloyd - whatever happens in the future will be down to him. One of my concerns is that Bratt and Oliver still have the 'majority vote' over Mike Lloyd.

Do they have the majority vote though - if MA votes with ML then ML now has the casting vote as chairman.

Dave,

For me this is the wrong way around.

There have been plenty of empty gestures along the way from the board.

They have to prove themselves to be trustworthy FIRST. At the moment we have seen no significant change just more talk...

Mike Catlin

American Consortium

Mike Newton.... there was always a better offer in the future....

They said they would allow Mark Sims to do due diligence and then prevented him from seeing 90% of what he needed to see.

And now because of one statement you suddenly trust the board :(

Malcolm I congratulated you in the Bulls before the first game about you 'being back in the fold',It suits you much better, now Im worried for Dave!

Agree with every word you have said today, thanks!!!!

Dave, you are obviously (and im not being sarcastic here) morein the know than myself, and i appreciate what you are trying to say.

However Mike Lloyd is in my opinion merely paying lip service at the moment and until he demonstrates actions rather than words i will remain doubtful of him.

Numerous small investments are absolutely pointless as they will never amount to enough to take us forward. Look at the power struggle at Arsenal as a result of silly ownership rules.

Do you seriously deep down believe that this so called "club changing investment" that Oliver et al bang on about is going to be any better than what MC or MS had to offer and would subsequently follow as a result of them??

In my opinion the club needs 4-5 million pumped into in order to get it onto an even keel. I personally know finances are not good at the club, its in the public domain how much debt we are in, so investment needs to be substantial in order to wipe that out & then allow further investment to build upon.

50k here, 100k there and 500k training pitches wont get us anywhere.

The investment we need is only likely to come from single ownership for a club like us in our current situation.

I agree with cheeky and Karl! I certainly won't be thanking Oliver and Bratt anytime soon, dispicable human beings who's selfish attitudes have stopped the club moving forward and having a brighter future for long enough!

Whatever is said and done that have had to be forced out instead of going with some dignity and for that I will never forgive either of them!
