My understanding was that Meakin was/is willing to work with Mark Sims.

 

Lloyd mentioned last night that Bratt will stand down and a postal vote will be conducted to allow Meakin on to the board to keep them quorate.

Wasn't Meakin the One Bratt Fan who came on One Vale Fan last year to say Bratt was alright and the Board are alright and that he thinks Bratt is his friend because Bratt had asked him that if he could get Bratt 50k into the club he could be a Director and that everyone in their box and the box next door were going to club together and the club needed the money...........nothing happened except people on OVF laughed and behind the scenes a bung from Harlequin of £130,000 saved the club from administration.....that is untill now....so has the Meakin "consortium" nearly got that 50k now or are they being sponsored just so Adams can step down and remember the Board need four inorder to sell the club out to unknown investors with seemingly something to hide without telling the clubs owners the shareholders.

Did anyone catch the full interview? I turned it on to listen but it was almost over

 

The only bits I caught were that he;

 

1) Questioned Bratty selling his shares to the "new" investor after not long ago saying he wouldnt sell them

2) Thought ML was the only one of the directors that has come out of the whole saga with any integrity and that was genuinely trying to do right for the club

 

He sounded very disappointed too

 

Am surprised Mark made the remark about Bratt SELLING his shares,I dont think anyone as said that,all we know so far is that he is stepping down from the board,just hope that statement dosent bit him in the ar se later ..

Bratt's shares are being bought as part of the deal, that is why it won't go to a shareholder vote in case the shareholders don't like the deal and he doesn't get his dosh, whereas the Meakin proposal will be put to the shareholders because that will be "new money".

I got the impression from his posts that he was a board sympathiser...

Meakin is of no real interest to me, the proposed sellout from Bratt without shareholder approval is.
