Time for Action NOT Words

I wouldn't expect an answer before the meeting. Im just thinking that if they say "no" makes the meeting more challenging and if they break the news at the meeting that it's a "yes" and explain the terms ad conditions then its a nice PR activity with everyone together.

That's my personal opinion though and an answer could come today for all I know.

When NLV asked for Mark Sims to be present at the meeting with the board, we were informed they were totally separate issues - so i would love for them to trot that excuse out...

I appreciate your point though Mark.

Oh did NLV have to ask for MS to be at the meeting? I assumed that the board had invited him as part of the "heeling" process. Surly though you would not want to reject the MS offer and then face the backlash at such a meeting. Just trying to think logically about this.

Logic doesn't exist in the minds of Lloyd, Glenda and Pratt. Remember, Lloyd is just playing for time.

2 things

the meeting is pointless as the board know what the fans want, they are either willing to meet Mark Sims' requirements or not. yes or no!?

why do a select few of vale fans get to meet the board when there are oer 900 shareholders? particularly as these select few will probably not share what was said with the rest of us.

But would you want to meet the fans having turned down MS? I guess they could say his demands were unreasonable, but still it would be heated if they faced the fans after turning him down.

Do you think the ML really has this other investment / sponsorship offer on the table?

Lloyd and the other vile 2 are playing these groups like a fiddle and quite soon when they have what they want (investment that suits them from someone who is happy for them to stay in office) they will drop BandG,NLV and everyone else like a bad habit. Lets see if they can get a cosy behind closed doors pointless meeting then!

To be honest Malc I've gone past the point of caring. Until BB and GO shuffle off and move to a place where they cant destroy my club anymore I wont be supporting them or, very sadly, the club.

Same here Im afraid. The longer it carries on more anti-board I have become.I doubt they will ever budge? They are delaying until they get some fool to put money into the club without wanting anything in exchange.

I do hope Im wrong but cant really see anything else happening or changing!

Believe me Lloyd is NOT playing the pro-change groups like a fiddle, they are fully aware of Lloyds motives and his agenda.

lloyd bratt and oliver will drop these groups and cosy meetings like a bad habit once they have got some investment in that suits them. Until then they will lead these groups along and play for time.

Do you realy think they would be meeting BandG and NLV tonight if they had done the Ameriturf deal????!!!!

Jackson will be pulling the strings and is playing all these groups for fools.

forget these pointless meetings as all they serve to do is buy the board time.

seo or someone actually putting a cash offer they cant refuse in front of them is the only thing that will move these ****ers, until then we will get no further.

You are mis-informed.

Don't forget the AGS deal will have to go in front of the shareholders. ML has to be seen to "communicate". This meeting will be far from cosy. Could you imagine the spin Lemon-head would put on this if the pro-change groups turned down the opportunity to meet with the new Chairman? I'm pretty sure the pro-change groups are fully aware of Lloyds stalling tactics and his need to be all things to all men in order to fulfil his own ambition and I'm sure a full briefing will be published following this evenings meeting.

Caroline,

dont get me wrong i am a supporter of BandG,SEO etc and i am as anti board as anyone but i believe that the time for talking has now ended.

forget Deakins spin, he cant spin anything if he was told we wont meet you until you respond to Sims about his offer.

making meetings, getting politicians answers from the board and getting told what you want to here before they go off and do their own thing achieves nothing.

We had a pretty big meeting on the 1st of June and they recieved a massive vote of no confidence, they are still there!!!

more meeting and talking = more time for them to get ameriturf money, egm or agm after that it will be a closed shop and they will vote through whatever they want and drop the supporters.

i am not misinformed, i know Jackson will be plotting to string you along and then bury you.

To be honest, and I haven't read the entire thread, I'm not sure why the board should be meeting these groups at all.

Surely 'Shareholders' should be at the forefront of the boards actions, it is after all we that hold the purse strings, not some 'half-baked know-it-alls' who probably havent got ten shares between them!

Seriously boys.....Give em hell!!!!!

Does the whole deal have to go before shareholders?

If the want a directorship his/her nomination will have to....If they want 2 directors it may cause problems as the board stated that one company/person can not have two representatives or sponsor 2 people.

The deal as it was adjusted is just shares and a loan.... the board can agree that without shareholder approval.... cant they?
