I'll be sorry to see him go as I thought he did well in difficult circumstances (Smurf). Bad timing for me but knowing Smurf he'll bank some £!! The next appointment is huge and I hope we don't miss what we've lost.

Mixed emotions really as I thought this season was make or break for page. Glad he's gone in one way as his tactics left lots to be desired. But disappointed in others as he has been well backed money wise and we gave him a start for him to issue the retained list then leave is toss.

 

I remember Don caster , Sheff Utd etc. But also Walsall and Exeter.

 

Hope it doesn't go to Brown but it's probable it will. Nigel Adkins for me.

Good luck to him. Seems a sideways or even backwards move especially given that we took a chance on him. Not impressed that hes done the retained list and then left though. Now once again a new manager will have to potentially work with players he may not want.

Really bad form, I understand people move on with their careers and all but to announce the retained list and release players for you yourself to leave days later is a bit of a smack in the face to the club.
