Did we take 3,000 to wolves?

No. Took around 2,300 to Wolves. Filled all of the lower tier of their side stand.

Jacko - The away end at Brammall Lane this season I imagine the away allocation was more than 3,000 if demand sufficed, plus the JJB stadium, Oakwell, Ricoh arena on Boxing day etc?

I know we didn't take anywhere near those amounts to any of those places this season, just saying if there was demand, the option would have been there..

We took over 3,000 to Rochdale in our promotion season. The official following was 2900 odd, but that whole side was packed and it holds 3,600. The front couple of rows were netted off but nothing else. This season Oldham didn't take anywhere near as many as us going off the pictures, I'm sure the end blocks were almost empty, yet their following was given as over 3,000. Rochdale's official away figures are very suspect.

Sorry guys but I only go back to late seventies. Know plent of old gits who went in the 50s and 60s. Heard many stories about matches in the old days. We played Aston vile in sixties and apparently took 20,000. That's one of main reasons I want us to go up, to dick vile
We took 25000 to Villa in the 50s to play the Baggies, so there!!

Just seen O&P's early post but

Seems that some of their fans are thinking that tickets are available one the day as our official site suggests.

Isn't it all ticket for them? Wouldn't want anyone travelling only to find that they couldn't get in, even Walsall fans:-)

We know how good our official website is, is this another blunder?

I think that suggests that those tickets on the day are for Vale fans only,Nelly. As I've asked what would happen if thousands turned up without tickets.I suggest any Saddlers fan should contact OUR ticket office. The cock up is mentioning the Hamil Road/ Away fans.
