Well first off lets give credit to Burton Albion ! No stars but a great team they are top for a reason been consistant all season its not a fluke. We need to learn we have well and truly taught a lesson ! To loose 4 nil at home is a big a spanking we have had for sometime! We await the post mortem.

Players tried, however, errors made by some players allowed Burton in and they made us pay for them. However, they kept trying.

 

Burton showed us how to take chances when they appear.

Shame. They were much much better. Same old vale really struggle when the fans do turn up.

Poor day at the office. Burton better in every department, we are very lightweight up front in a physical league. Own goal on half time killed us. Crazy league even Rochdale who 3 weeks ago were talking about relegation now just 4 points off playoffs !!

All credit to burton. The looked more organised, sharper, hungrier, fitter and faster than us.

Where to begin.

 

Even game for the first half an hour, then we get a free kick in a decent attacking position which leads to a breakaway 3 on 2 and us conceding.

 

As soon as we start chasing the game we lose all discipline and bottle. Too many individual errors which turned out to be big moments in the game. Too many poor individual performances from the players we need to turn up. After the second and then the third the game degenerated into a farce. Shoddy all round.

 

Oh and the least said about our forwards the better. Contrast with how clinical Burton's were.
