So with Geoff and Gannon not travelling down there was not "authoritive" (sp?) figure there for the players it just shows what a joke it is he has no control whatsoever and doesnt even back his players and show that they are co operating together ITS A JOKE

i thought that was the most insightful part of the interview, "gannon didnt travel on the bus with us, he turned up, named the team and a few players were disappointed and heads dropped" the mood and mind set of the players before they actually went out on the pitch must have been terrible, the players know who should be playing at any level and for them 4 not to be in the starting 11 or make the 16 will have affected the whole team!

Managers quite often meet up with the team especially if they live out of the area, thats not the problem the trouble is Gannon is an egotistical incompetant,whose man management skills are nil.

 

Jackson said that they wanted someone to carry on in the same mode as Adams,Lloyd said on Radio Stoke that he has never been so impressed with a managerial candidate......both should resign with immediate effect .......anyone holding their breath ===
