Early Bird Season Ticket Deadline Changed

Well at least it is logical to know what the ST sales are at the end of May, before setting the player budget in June. So avoiding a repeat of the confusion in June 15, whatever the cause of that was, hopefully it will not result in that argument being re-run. In the event of the long shot happening, the budget could be revised in line with the increased TV money etc available in the Championship.

I can imagine that for the people who work at Vale, it's a never ending struggle against calendars.

Aside from originally scheduling a fans' forum on the same evening as an away match, I remember getting a voucher for the club shop with my season ticket a couple of years ago that expired on the 31st of September.

Christ, I think if the world ended tomorrow it would be Smurf's fault!

Doesn't it make sense to get the cash in and assess the budget earlier, so you can sign up or keep the players you want?

We're not the only club who do this - it's a small change to the original plan.

And why would we not sell 3k after the excellent form this season ?

Oh I know.....Vale "fans" will use this as another excuse not to buy one.

We wont sell 3k for the price alone. Isn't our ST price something daft like second most expensive in the league? ...

I think it makes perfect sense so the club can budget. The ST deadline for most clubs is always May.

Season tickets cannot be sold on pure faith though.

Market it well.

Build the buzz.

Give fans incentives.

Instead the marketing of reduced prices, should we sell more, has been done in ONE statement on release.

He continues to slag off his customers.

He publically bemoans a reduced budget. By a third, or thereabouts, i may add.

Way to go Norman!!!

Now then............. Why would he do all of that?!

At the minute the only answer im hearing is "because hes a buffoon"

He isnt.

Hes a clever ****** ******.

Agree with all of that.

So why make the deadline the end of June in the first place?

Because they didn't it was a computer error pressed for the month of May to come up but it came out as June and no one noticed it till now.
