I think Streete has had a lot more bad games than good games, from the games I've seen. I appreciate that he is young and I would have picked him yesterday, but people making out that he dramatically improves our team are wide of the mark in my opinion. I can't wait for Inniss to return.

I agree with that, i thought at the beginning of the season Page was crazy to keep Streete out of the team for Duffy but for me Streete seems to be carrying too much weight and is not playing to the level that we expected from him.

McGivern has been excellent since his return and feel him and Innis would make a decent partnership.

I would just like to see us being more positive away from home, lets just go for it for once and have 2 up front,i would certainly drop Dodds for this one after his performances the the last few games

He was indeed dreadful again yesterday allowing us to be overrun in midfield yet not supporting AJLS.

Uche looked promising when he came on so I would look to play AJLS behind him and put our two goal scorers on the pitch.

The poor performances need to stop as we are going to be laughed on national to at if we come up with what we did yesterday and at Exeter.

So you would drop Duffy , the most consistent centre back this season, the most improved player this season, he has improved so much this season he would be first name on the team sheet and I never thought I would say that at start of the season

Would be a tough call but for me when fit Innis plays, we have really missed him and I am convinced a lot of these goals from set plays we would not have conceded with him in the team.

Not saying Duffy has not played well this season but my own personal choice when all defenders fit would be Innis and McGivern and I never thought I would be saying that about McGivern.

I still think a 3-5-2 could really benefit us, or if page prefered a 5-3-2/5-4-1

At the moment Duffy cant be dropped and Mcgivern looks solid as well. I always want streete to play and when Inniss is fit he has to start.

A team of:

Alwick

Duffy

Inniss

Mcgivern

Moore/Birchall

Oconnor

Grant

Foley

Kelly

AJ

Uche

That looks really strong to me

Will uche still be here in January when is loan spell is up smurf will look at the match attendance and decide its not worth paying his wages for the rest of the season.

... and some of his performances over the last 6 weeks or so would also suggest that he would not be value for money post Christmas - certainly to the man who has to pay out the money!

My questions would be : Are we actually already looking round for anyone else to replace him if we decide not to renew his loan?

Are we just going to give Hooper more game time and 'save' the money?

Or are we just going to jog along as we are and renew Uche's loan because it's the easiest thing to do and we can't be

ar**d to do anything more proactive?

Will Innis get a game when fit? I do agree that Street doesn't look fit but hey we all loved him last season and he hasn't had a real chance this due to Duffy and McGivern starting to show signs of a decent partnership. My earlier point was that Street deserves a run in games perhaps at full back? We seem to just push certain players on the bench and then expect them to be world beaters in their first games back!

If you actually digest a lot of our games and see where the goals come against us then we have to look hard and long at Duffy's positioning etc. I am not knocking him, just pointing out that sometimes he loses his man far too easily. OK he commands the back four well with his constant shouting and encouragement to others but he does have flaws himself and he doesn't like it if his colleagues get at him! I would suggest that when Innis is totally fit he HAS to go in our side and that leaves a lot of questions as to whom he partners? Imo Duffy is not nailed on to be that man. McGivern and Street will give him a real run for his money, if they show the form we know they are capable of. Good problem for RP to chew over.

As far as this weekends game is concerned I think we need to put Dodds on the bench and start with a fresh outlook in midfield. AJ has to play of course and we need another front runner. This could be the game for Hooper to start and then RP may change things depending on how we go.
