How is this even a story? HE THOUGHT fans wouldn't take kindly to him appointing Jimmy Flloyd. Not that he appointed him and a load of Ku Klux Klan turned up in the Lorne Street car park burning crosses. Papers didn't take notice of the fact we have Ikpezu, Moore, Streete, Grant, Hooper etc etc who seem to be fitting in perfectly well.

The way I see it, is moral cowardice on Smurf's part. If you have a club full of racists like he claims, surely you would stand up to them and appoint a black manager? Plus The Times quotes "Mr Smurfwaite made the decision, which could have contravened anti-discrimination legislation, in the same year his club was fined by the FA for racist chanting...." So in other words it is Smurf they claim who has behaved improperly by undermining equality laws!

I don't either, we had just been promoted then went on to finish a very creditable 9th in league 1.
