Norman Has had enough and he's not been open with us

Torquay Valiant

Recommended Posts

I've started a new thread as this WILL be a hot topic.

Before I start all facts are true and have been verified.

It was rumoured Smurf was at the Torquay game on Saturday to discuss a proposed take over.

The fact is he was there but he told them he was no longer interested. Apparently he's been in "discussions" for a number of weeks and has been negotiating with shareholders to buy blocks of shares. He wanted to take total control of the club but individual shareholders were unwilling to sell, he has therefore told them he's no longer interested.

He's after buying a club on the cheap again and no doubt this is all part of his tactics.

This information has come from a very reputable source and I've been told there's a piece on it in the local rag (Herald Express). When it is out I'll publish a link.:ninja:

As I said my information is correct, the paper would not put in content that would put there relationship with TUFC into question as there have been issues before.

To be given that info the paper would have to agree what to put in.

Do you get what I'm saying and do you get where my info come from?

Win Win outcome desired. A new owner offering stability and the opportunity for the club to progress. Mr Smurf gets a good price and exits with dignity and enduring respect from the fans. The period of uncertainty prior to the sale doesn't cause a poisonous atmosphere that harms everyone and in particular the team stays in the top half of the league.
