Stoke were genuinely unlucky to miss out on a final, but I have to tell you that I heard Peter Coates is getting them a load of Viagra, as it has taken them ages to manage a semi and when they did they flopped anyway.

Disagree Liverpool were excellent first half at The Brit but we still should have come away with a draw. Tonight we just couldn't get that elusive 2nd goal when we were keeping the ball well and dominating the game. Two very tight games the tie could have gone either way, there was nothing in the league game either.

They were diabolical ,in fact apart from the offside goal it was tepid and a real boring match

Stoke put on the perfect away performance in terms of Liverpool not making Butland do anything ,nothing at all ,and with a bit more guile and composure could and maybe should have scored again ,the miss from Walters stands out , and Van Ginkel hit the post after positive go for it play .

But pens it was and as Stoke have had here fair share of happy outcomes in this year's competition karma decided that Liverpool who were totally inept all night ( on and off the pitch support was poor )were to yield and in a way they showed bottle when they needed it .
