Hunt wants to sneak another one through.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt is trying to sneak through new NHS plans. [1] The Guardian newspaper has revealed that a key NHS blueprint has been slipped out - the public have a right to comment, but the government "has deliberately kept it quiet". [2] Because of this cover-up, we've now got just two days to flood the Department of Health with messages demanding the NHS is protected. [3]

It's not hard to see why Jeremy Hunt would try to sneak NHS plans through. The NHS is facing a dangerous winter, harmed by needless cuts and privatisation. [4] Hunt wants to claim that the public are happy with the way he's running the NHS. So the last thing he wants is a huge public rejection of his latest plan.

We've got until the end of Tuesday to send our objections to the Department of Health. Let's tell them that we want an NHS that is properly funded and available to everyone, and that we don't want privatisation or to have to pay charges to get an appointment.

Please can you send a quick message now?

The NHS Mandate, which Jeremy Hunt is trying to sneak out, is a big deal. It "sets the government's objectives for NHS England, as well as its budget." [5] These plans mean continuing privatisation policies and a dangerous funding squeeze. [6] It would suit Jeremy Hunt down to the ground to be able to claim that no one registered any objection to these plans!

But Jeremy Hunt has been found out - and luckily we still have two days to protest against his destruction of the NHS. Let's respond in our hundreds of thousands. Then when the results come out, they'll be embarrassing for Jeremy Hunt because they'll prove that the public don't like what he's doing to our health service.

Please click here to spoil Jeremy Hunt's attempt to sneak his plans through - you've got 48 hours until the deadline, and it will only take you two minutes:

Is this the thing about ending bursaries for student nurses?

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/nov/21/george-osborne-considers-axeing-student-nurse-bursaries

Great idea! It's not like we've got a recruitment problem with the NHS, and no-one will mind if we employ any more of those pesky foreigners, will they? Long live austerity!

This ****ing government are nothing but filth.

What's the blueprint?

Sorry Whotobe. I only know what I have copied from what 38 Degrees have sent to me.

38 Degrees send out petitions on anything that a member deems to be unjust such slavery which is still prevelent in some countries.

There isn't one. It's the Labour rag's way of trying to divert attention away from the most useless, terrorist sympathising, appalling and lying bunch of ****s in political history. The Liebour Party, led by a ****ing communist who has entrusted his defence review to the biggest piece of scum to crawl from under a stone and a shadow chancellor who doesn't want our anti terrorist police to be armed and wants the MI5 to be disbanded.

The no mark party of waste and wasters.

Not sure that's the point, Howjy. If the NHS continues on the path of privatisation which the current government appear to want to take it down, it won't be the fault of Corbyn or the Guardian.

There is no real evidence that that is the case chesh. The Tories are putting more into frontline NHS than Liebour ever dreamed about. There's always been private health in any case. Not in our lifetime will we see the NHS not free.I hope you live a very long time chesh btw.;)

You may be very wrong M8 about not seeing the NHS not being privatised in our lifetime.

The goverment are also very quiet about the TTIP agreement where mega companies will be purchasing U.K. and European businesses including the NHS of which U.S. companies already have a good piece of.

TTIP agreements, if agreed, would have a tremendous impact on our diet and food safety choice. The abandonment of the precautionary principle could open up the EU market to many unhealthy products currently banned from EU, such as chlorinated chicken and hormone beef, and could lead to the abolition food safety regulations, such as those governing the use of GMOs.

TTIP WILL ACCELERATE THE PRIVATISATION OF PUBLIC GOODS AND SERVICES SUCH AS THE UK'S NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE (NHS).

The TTIP represents an unabashed corporate attack on democracy. This attack is implemented through something known as the Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), a mechanism that grants corporations the right to sue governments if they pass laws or enact policies that could reduce a corporation's present or future profits.

Including the UK, as an increasing number of cases is revealing!

On one hand you have an opposition party led by an apologist...on the other hand you have a government which approves Saudi Arabia's supply of arms...there is only one alternative and that alternative has one MP...we are doomed!!

I am not confident that either Conservative nor Labour would not accept the principles of TTIP even if we were not in the EU. So that probably justifies UKIP's existence beyond a referendum.

TTIP, which the majority of people in the UK have either not heard of or failed to be interested in, is far more important than virtually anything else on the agenda right now, including the first aid debate......it is the most dangerous attack on the health of the British people ever.
