How come at the end of January he was a quality player we could do with and now come March he is getting slated already before hes even played?

 

I think, WV, that people are just worried that the Ex will keep his place and we'll lose another of the pre-Gannon players to accomodate Blizzard. That may be the issue rather than whether the new lad is any good.

I just don't see how this will help us to score more goals (and win more matches).

Having not been able to beat the likes of Lincoln, Northampton, Barnet, Cheltenham and Stevenage under Gannons reign by using this silly 4 defenders, 2 holding midfielders nonsense, i really would like to see us attack the 3 teams above, with 2 out and out strikers on the pitch.

 

By doing that we can really pin these teams back and get wins on the board.

 

7 points is a minimum against them 3 and anything less would put a massive dent in our promotion hopes.

 

Jim keeps going on about shoring up at the back. Go back to basics Jim, we hardly conceded in the first half of the season.

I tend to agree. Signing a defensive midfield player does not fill me with hope.

I hoped to see a fleet footed winger who can score goals.

If we drop out of the play-off positions tomorrow all hell will be let lose.

Blizzard is not crap. If Gannon is going to play his system, then surely we're better getting players that know how to play that way. Why sign players suited to 442 if were not going to play 442?

I agree with Burt, he's probably got a queue of players a mile long wanting to play for him. They don't have to run about too much and get to watch DVD's all day long.
