Martin Tideswell on the NLV Poll

Wouldn't 1 man 1 vote scare away investment.

Can't see Mo investing £1.2m on the basis he only gets same voting power as joe bloggs with 1 £50 share.

We gotta get ALL shareholders including Robbie AND split board and get their 30% down to less than 25%.

BB to recommend this bid to shareholders would do it. Go on Billy, let your legacy be saving Port Vale twice.

Mr Chaudry isn't promising a shareholder democracy. V2001 did.

Why have they done that - mine certainly wasn't in the least offensive - I've copied it above so you can see for yourself.

Don't shoot the messenger!

I'd read at least 10 comments earlier, including your own, but there is only one remaining, which makes some good points.

Seems if you're assistant Editor, you can be above criticism!;)

Sentinel letter from Warren from Wirral, and I quote this part of his letter, if I may:

"In my view, for example, Graham Mudie - £500 shares - probably not worth a place on the board unless offering valuable skills. On the other hand Graham Mudie acting as a proxy for a larger investor may well be justified in taking a place on the board".

Hmmm........ would someone in the know like to put this gentleman right??

:yes::yes::yes:

I noticed the same issue on the Sentinel where comments seem to go missing, then come back and then go missing again. After some hours it seems to settle down.

One article I was interested in had 3 comments listed in the summary, but when I looked at the full text of the article, it said there were 2 comments. Very annoying.

Looks to me like they have some web application issue.

I agree that it should not be 1 man 1 vote why should someone who has £50 get the same vote as someone who has £1,000

Because Rock, that was what V2001 and all the others signed up to.

It was clear when shares were bought!

Its only an issue now because they know they will loose!
