I'm not sure it was a foul in the first place, looked like Duffy was being fouled, however have got go start defending them so much better.

Sort of game when the result does not matter. A 12 min delay seemed serious, hoping it was only precautionary. At least we did not pick up any yellow cards.

The number of defenders that we have had on the coaching staff since the problem started makes it even more worrying. Reading our local paper, the Burton Mail, it sounds like Southend are a big team and caused the League leaders a few problems last Saturday with set pieces even though they failed to score from them. Need to sort it out for Saturday then.

That Luke Prosser's normally good for a ****-up!!

 

I've never forgotten his backpass in the fog against Macc in the FA Cup.....and he screwed up on Saturday at Burton.

Why do we bother when it seems like the management and players don't seem interested in a potential money spinning cup run.

 

Painfully slow build up play, 2nd to every ball and by the way we are playing Blackpool reserves!

 

We have been worked out again, you'd think we might start learning how to defend set pieces.

They score from open play, both sides as poor as each other at this point, shot was about as fast as some tumbleweed, but Alnwick saw it late and it went in. Ok no problem

 

STREETE GOT VERY INJURED. There is some debate whether their #17 Thomas did it on purpose, judging by his aggressiveness for the rest of the game it is a possibility, 12 minutes on the deck and went straight to the ambulance. Looked nasty, but Thomas was fine and played the rest of the game without a card.

We score a penalty for taking Andoh out in the box, was last man so probably should of got sent off, but he didn't so whatever, Dickinson then got himself booked for saying some bad words to the referee.

 

They couldn't even be bothered to play glad all over.....

 

They get a set piece, and low as behold they scored it, for a change.

 

Then brown was taken off after offering very little from what I saw, but then dodds was pushed in to midfield and we lost that battle, Uche came on and did little.

 

Best chance went to Andoh, but he lacks composure in front of goal, so went straight at the keeper, quite slowly.

 

Their left back Dunne #18 shouted at one of the ball boys, idiot

 

Then they went on to employ some 'Good' or 'Bad' time wasting depending on which way you look at it, at one point on the railway side it took at least 30 seconds to take a throw in, probably closer to a minute, keeper doing the usual thing but everyone does that. Throw ins were pathetic though.

Uche was in a rush to get home and bombed it straight off the pitch down the tunnel without shaking anyone's hands. Strange
