a newcastle united supporters view on innis and streete

Spoke to a Newcastle supporter up at Whitby on Saturday and his view of Innis and Streete was that they were a promising couple of young players who were not ready for the 1st team but needed experience to progress,i agreed that they needed experience and playing time but they were both firm favourites at the Vale and that league 1 was a good standard for them to gain the necessary experience needed, nice to have a sensible chat with a supporter from a team who have loaned a couple of promising players out.

You do know Streete has signed a 2 year deal and isn't on loan right?

So you spoke to a bloke who had never seen Innis play and thought Streete was still on Newcastle's books? Yeh right!

Could you try and find him again to ask his views on Joe Allon and whether he could still do a job for us?

This has made me chuckle this morning. The one former Newcastle player who Newcastle fans would have seen play, Jak Alnwick and he doesn't offer an opinion on him, lol
