What loan striker could we sign?

After Rob Page told the Sentinel that one of the two forwards could be a loan signing, I thought it was only right to open a thread to speculate (i.e. guess) who it could be.

I guess leading candidates would be:

Keshi Anderson (Palace reported to be offering another loanee in addition to Inniss and his name has been linked)

Uche Ikpeazu (Vale reportedly interested in him last season before he opted for Crewe)

With other names being - Nicky Ajose and Dominic Samuel (but he is strongly linked with Coventry)...

But anyone got any other suggestions?

I guess if it is to be another from Crystal Palace then it would be one from their development squad.

I see Anderson scored 3 goals in 13 appearances. He's only recently moved from Barton Rovers, and everything seems to have hinged on a few minutes in a trial match between Brentford and Palace.

If we weren't so flush with midfielders, I'd hope Vale would be trying to get Sullay Kaikai from that list.

Ashley fletcher from Manchester united's u21 squad. With pages links with giggs it could be great development for the youngster.

Dominic Samuel from reading, adapted well at Coventry and a youngster with a eye for goal,

Uche Ikpeazu, a lad who did well at Crewe last season and looks less likely to be involved with the Watford side now they have been promoted.

Thierry Ambrose , a young French lad who is a real prospect at Man City, scored goals in the u21,s this season.

Keshi Anderson, this is a name that has been linked a lot with us over the summer,

MARCUS BARNES, a lad who Southampton picked up from wolves he knows where the net is and is a tall centre forward.

All good shouts, any of those along with Ajose I'd be happy with and I do think Luer is worth another go.

Luis Suarez.

Bound to be forced out at Barca due to their abundance of riches up front, and he would welcome a foot back into the English leagues. At a push I'd take Neymar, but he'd need to sort his barnet out first.

If we sign him I'm not supporting Vale anymore. He bit someone you know, it's almost as bad as murder in the first.

I believe we would be very keen to have Keshi Anderson, but Crystal Palace want him to do a pre-season with them, which makes sense as they only took him on this year. Page must be hoping he does OK enough to still look a good signing for us, but not well enough for Palace to want to keep him. It will be a bit of a gamble not going in for someone else the closer we get to the start of the season as there will be quite a few promising forwards available for extended loans.

Some good suggestions so far, not that I've seen any of them play but based on my opinion that if we're loaning a forward we should be looking at those in Premier League reserve teams who are unlikely to get a game in the Prem but who have either potential or experience in, say, the Championship. Newly promoted clubs or those with solid youth development records are probably best to look at.
