It is amazing how many fans do need educating on our clubs plight. Most people on here are great and understand the state of our club but there are others who either do not have access to the internet or simply do not follow articles in the press or on the radio. With all due respect, there are some fans who turn up on matchdays to just watch the match and choose to ignore the politics and off-field goings on.These are the fans we need to reach out to.

We need as many fans onside as possible but it is the shareholders that will decide the club's future. With that in mind, however, there will be shareholders who are just fans and may never get on the internet, so by educating the normal fan who will then speak on the terraces to his mates, some of whom maybe shareholders, we can get the message out there that things aren't rosey at Vale park. I would hope that if an EGM is called, the local media will report things accurately so that all fans get to know what is going on. Radio Stoke seem to be keen on the NLV poll for example.

Tim,

Perhaps b & G need to take out a FULL PAGE SPREAD in the Sentinel, CAREFULLY WORDED OBVIOUSLY detailing what they believe to be the current state of play with the club/board, and Mo's position.

Or maybe Mo could do likewise outlining his proposals?

It may well lead to much much more information of the correct state of play and people who do not read internet message boards may well see the truth for once.

Fred, that is something we enquired about a few weeks back but the cost is extremely prohibitive, we are talking 4 figures. If you would like to fund it then we will get one in! The Sentinel would not consider doing a free article of such a nature either, the club still control them it seems

Tim you know I spent my last £50 on shares!. ;)

I did not realise the cost but would contribute towards something if maybe something could be set up.

Dear BHF,

I will shortly be posting a bid summary document.

We will be handing out hard copies at home games.

I am sure we will also put something in The Sentinel to highlight the EGM was date set and summarise the pertinent bid points.

As and when you have the bid summary please circulate far and wide so we reach those who remain blissfully ignorant !

Kind Regards

Apologies for going off topic, but has anyone compiled a list of prominent figures who support change. Celebs, ex-directors, ex players and managers, sponsors, businesspeople, leaders of Vale groups/initiatives. Maybe an open letter with the above endorsing change would be a a strong message. It worked for the anti-privatisation of national forests etc?? PM me if anyone has compiled a list.
