Thomas Elliot is the name that seems to fit the face of the mystery man at vale park today. 24 years old left Cambridge Utd after making over 70 appearances scoring 26 goals in the last 2 seasons.

We don't even know if it's him signing. If it is though I am willing to give him a chance like any other player we may sign. He looks like a type of striker we may need. Did Cambridge play him as a lone striker does anyone know?

So it's definitely him then? You should know if you've seen him enough times to pass judgement. A Crewe fan on another site reckons it looks like Pogba.

Lets not prejudge him. Previous goal records mean nothing. Look at Tom Pope for an example. He didn't score many goals at Rotherham then joined Vale He scored 33 goals in league two with us in our promotion season. Loads of clubs have said things like he is not good enough before. Hibs fans said the same about Ryan Mcgivern last season :). He isn't that bad in the left back position to be fair.
