It's already there, at the end of The Paddock - it's just unofficial.

 

There was never a need to go all-seater at football anyway, it was a misguided response to Hillsborough.

 

Standing at football was never the problem - overcrowded terraces were, and that could have been addressed without making clubs go all-seater.

Yeah one part of the ground should. Bycars get a bit of atmosphere in there and would probably get a few more in.

Always thought the corners of the ground should be used for standing. Charge £5 entry and limit to 250 max say. No Season tickets - just pay on the gate.

Personally think it would be a bit harsh to implement that in the disabled corner.

Why would any club bother paying 300K?? from what I have seen fans (home or away) who want to stand up do so anyway and no one does anything about it.

 

Try telling an away end full of Leeds fans to sit down.!!!!

I certainly wouldn't want my seat in the Bycars ripped up to house 'standing only'. I was all against seated stadiums but now I am all for it. In my case it is probably an age thing.

As things stand (ho ho) we can never again have standing if we ever want Championship football. Rules state that a club first promoted with standing must convert to all seater within 3 seasons. Unfortunately we were at this level for rather longer and is the real reason the old Lorne Street was demolished. We had to go all seater to comply with regulations.
